FAQs

An airboat is a flat-bottomed watercraft propelled by a propeller and powered by an engine. The flat bottom allows the airboat to move on land and shallow water so they are perfect for river rides. Airboats can go up to 65 miles per hour but we only go as fast as passengers prefer. Most airboat tours take a slower pace to ensure all passengers feel comfortable and can take in the sights.
-
Absolutely! Tours are extremely safe and loved by people of all ages. Rides are smooth and the water is shallow. Children aged 13 and younger are provided a life vest and required to wear it throughout the tour to abide by state boating laws.

The Tours page of our website provides information about our different tours but we can also customize the tour to fit your needs. Just submit a request on the Contact page or email/call us to discuss. Although every tour is different based on the ever-changing river and wildlife, you are guaranteed to have a great time boating down the river, taking in the sights, seeing wildlife, and maybe even stopping on a sandbar. Check out the Experience page on our website for photos, testimonials, and more!

We want you to be as comfortable as possible! We recommend you wear comfortable clothing and protective eyewear (sunglasses are fine). You can also bring cameras to capture the sights, binoculars to zoom in on wildlife, and a frisbee to enjoy the water. Don’t forget to pack a cooler filled with snacks and drinks to stay refreshed! You may also benefit from packing sunscreen or bug spray on hotter days and warmer clothing on colder days.
